Join us for Art & Soul ‘19

adminNews & Events

Plan now to join us for our 2019 Art & Soul juried art exhibit, coordinated by Partners For Community Living and Toward Independence. Artists with intellectual/developmental disabilities from around Ohio may submit up to two entries for consideration for the exhibit, with 45 pieces to be selected. Entries must be received by January 8, 2019 to be considered by our jury of professional artists, which includes Glen Cebulash, Chair, Department of Art and Art History, Wright State University; Shawna Hatton, instructor at the Dayton Art Institute and professional artist and Kelly Joslin, Chair, Art Department, Sinclair Community College. Artists selected for the Exhibit have the opportunity to showcase and sell their work and to be considered for cash awards, including Best of Show. All work included in the Exhibit is professionally matted and framed by Sketches of Beavercreek.

We once again are honored to announce that Hutcheson HomeCare Pharmacy is joining us as our Platinum Sponsor. The Greene, Hamilton, Montgomery, and Warren County Boards of Developmental Disabilities are also joining us as sponsors.

The Exhibit will be held at the Main Dayton Library, with the opening reception to be April 13. To be placed on our mailing list to receive an invitation to the Exhibit  and/or for information on how you can support Art & Soul with a sponsorship or donation, please contact Pam Skelly at 937-278-0791 or pskelly@rhadayton.com.
